ASECO - Alliance of Social and
Ecological Consumer Organization
The Swedish Consumer
Coalition has, together with several other European organizations,
left the AEC, Association of Eurorpean Consumer organisations,
creating a new network
ASECO will be open for other organizations all around
Europe. Initially the membership will be for free.
The intention is to work together on consumer issues concerning
development of important documents, referrals and petitions
to the European Commission, industri and to organizations.
The ambition is to have representatives from all over
Europe and in a medium term perspective apply for support
from the EU.

The first offical meeting was held in Brussels on the
8-10 of November in connection with the European Commission´s
annual conference for consumer organizations. |
